So, what we have is Futari will be out on November 26 of this year?
And ESP Galuda II is now confirmed(basically)?

Was nothing said or shown about Death Smiles MBL 1.1?

I missed it... so how did the ports look?
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Couldn't get any indicator as the stream was choppy. The only consistant thing was the sound.

In reference to the pic I posted: I know that Cave is probably doing the same thing they did with Death smiles where they update the sprite res somehow and don't do much to the backgrounds, but it definitely helps.

Btw there was interview with Mihara some half an hour before the actual show started; DOJBLEX patch is still being work on, apparently there are 47 bugs to take care of, bugfix patch will be free but patch for "complete" port will be charged for via DLC, no details about date. Seems Ketsui port is still being done by 5pb, Mihara is being wary of that, no other details. Mihara (or Arika) is working on some DSi game aswell.

As for the actual show;
- Cave, GRev, Gulti and M2 will continue working on 360 games, though they seemed to be pissed with MS attitude, especially GRev president
- DeathSmiles MBL 1.1 was shown, I don't think they mentioned actual release date
- Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 release date is 11/26, limited edition comes with 2CD arrange OST for 9660yen
- Espgaluda II BL is coming spring next year, there will be arrange modes done by both Yagawa and Ikeda, enhanced 360 mode as usual, new character aswell
- some hints abouts new DeathSmiles game, hosts were showing 3d sketches while talking about "puzzle mode", could be part od DSII port?

Whats the difference between the bugfix + current disc vs DLC 'Complete' port of DOJ?

Ok. I just set up a japanese xbox live account. Now, time to get some japanese microsoft points and wait. I'm curious what they're going to include for DOJBLEX. Or spend them on Death Smiles MBL.

I don't know. I'm picking up things from 2ch, didn't saw/heard the interview. Looks like what Mihara said about Ketsui is being interpreted differently, maybe he was doubting that 5pb still works on Ketsui...oh well.

I'll be if Yagawa manages to turn Espgaluda II into a Raizing game by the time his arrange mode is complete.

Perhaps if you own the disc release you can get a free bug fix, if not you can get the whole game as a DLC? Very awesome news about 2 arrange modes for ESPGALUDA II.

Great news all around aside from the whole fact that they're going to charge for DOJBLEX's patch, which is really unfair.

I'm really looking forward to Futari and Galuda 2. The lack of Ketsui's mention makes me think it will be released sometime next year.

This is becoming a trend. I can see some identical debris in Death Smiles which are present in Futari.

Got some more info on Mihara interview from other 2ch threads:
- they look to have DOJBLEX bugfix patch out by the end of August
- M2 will be working on that "complete" version of DOJBLEX
- Mihara/Arika's DSi game is of course STG
- Mihara would to like make XNA game with Clamp designed characters (!?)

Somone also mentioned Cave wants to bring some of their older titles to XBLA.

Thanks to everyone for mining all this great information!

I'm fearful that MS will expand the use of their "new" IP block. Hopefully the XBLA content will remain easily available.

They might not have a choice; maybe Microsoft is hitting them with some kind of a developers' fee or patching fee.

It sounds like the bugfix patch is free, while there will be an extra content patch that costs $$$. I really hope this is the case.

I'd like to see Yagawa's take on an Ikeda game. That could be fun -- gold and gems flying all over the place but you not sucking them in.

Was anyone ever not sad and fearful for the Ketsui port's future?

ESPGaluda II sounds like a musthave, especially with a Yagawa Arrange mode. Something tells me I'll end up splashing on a j-360 as soon as it comes out if it's any good.
ZacharyB wrote: They might not have a choice; maybe Microsoft is hitting them with some kind of a developers' fee or patching fee.
I remember Valve commenting on this regarding the 360 port of TF2, actually. MS allows the developers one free patch and the rest have to be paid for. I don't know how much it costs after that, but they have to get the money back somehow.
