I was thinking of picking up a thunder blade pcb. I know it won't be jamma but my main concern is the controls... were they digital or analog?

I was working on a microswitch joystick for thunderblade that had resistors holding the helicopter at zero, then moving it full speed either direction (it played like on the genesis). So you could do that. I never finished the thing but as far as I got, it seemed to work fine.

Basically, I was trying to JAMMA-ize my board.

more work than I care to tackle at the moment... it's to bad really. I miss the game and have alot of fond memories playing it at the arcade in a sit down set up. then playing it like hell on the master system.

oh well.... gonna watch blue thunder on blu ray tonight for kicks.

I recall watching Blue Thunder on the silver screen back in 1983...it was so popular that it even garned it's own short-lived Blue Thunder TV series. ^_~
