New PS2 adapter for Wii coming by GameTech

Plugs into the Wii remote. I don't know much else, although there is a chance of it having input lag as it's wireless. A comment on their youtube video says they don't ship internationally though, although I'm sure someone will pick these up like Play-Asia.com.

Why not use a PS2 > GC adapter?
Should be lag-free and most games that support the classic controller play fine with the cube controller.

^True of Virtual Console and the vast majority of homebrew, but eminently wrong about the pool of disc-based and WiiWare games that use the Classic Controller (but in no way recognize GC inputs).

I'll be buying two. My PS2 > GC adapter is great when supported, though remapping isn't available except through developers' good graces.

I've not noticed any lag with my hori wii joystick (connects to a wiimote as a classic controller), but I haven't done any scientific like testing obv. The people at SRK did some testing of xbox 360 and ps3 wireless, and if its anything like that (ps3 and wii both use bluetooth, right?) it should be sub-one frame, if any.

I said thanks, but no thanks (I actually no longer have a Wii and I don't have much reason to buy one again) for now. Still nice to see sellers in Japan giving a shit about foreigners for a change.
