That was a very pretty song. But why do you need tips, you live in friggin' BERLIN!!!!1 You have a very rich electronica scene right where you live. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! :D

Also, I'm more into old school techno and can't give you tips on this, so it's a double egged sword of frustration right here.

Just recently found an unsigned electronic act: Encephalon

Listen to their track "Rise" on Myspace if you care for dark electronic.

I used to listen to some electro, never really pursued it very much though. Anyways, here are a few that I remember.

Adult. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI9n_21ObCU
Fischerspooner - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8Jth4UtsY0

Justice are nice but not nearly dirty enough. Boyz Noize are more like it. Some new Japanese pop coming out has a REALLY dirty, fuzzy sound. Even if it's not your bag, I recomend you check out someone like Aira Mitsuki, just to see how fuzzed out and filthy mainstream pop music can get.

I too would be interested in any recomendations that people have :)

Oh yeah, I love the Bloody Beetroots! I should have seen them live recently when I had the chance, but I think I was too hungover or summut.

Ha ha, Empire is much more noise/punk with a bit of gabba than electro; not that he isn't amazing.

Anyway, thinking about it some more, If you want something really filthy, I would recommend this album: http://www.amazon.de/Love-Techno-2008-N ... 298&sr=8-1
It's all kinds of awesome. Just be prepared for some itchy eardrums if you listen to it too loudly.
