Pendulum - Propane Nightmares. Beware this is dull

So i'am a not really a fan of the band at all but hey it's on the Radio in the UK.

Anyway, while listening, parts of the song really remind of the music from Thunderforce 3 from an instrumentation view.

I noticed it mainly 4.04 mins into the song. (Album version)

Anyone else feel the same?

Is there any track from TF 3 you think it resembles in paticular? To me it just sounds like a FM synth .. not exactly out of the ordinary.

What it should be reminding you of is the intro from the Deep Purple track Smoke on the Water. The members of Pendulum should be executed for this insult.

I just thought that it sounded very Technosoft in the sounds they used rather than the actual melody.

Pendulum were ok when they first appeared back in 2003-ish, something a bit different from other D'n'B. But nowadays they're just atrocious, everything they've done in the past 4 or so years is
terrible beyond belief

That tune from last year 'Granite' was a load of wank, for instance
