Mainly Blue wish resurrection, working on stage 2 no miss no bomb atm, tonight ive got to the point where i can kill the boss off sortoff consistanly (still hit'n'miss with the last pattern), so hopefully ill crack the whole stage tommorro.

But ill have to cut down the amount of time i play bullet hell shooters as seeing too many criss-crossing bullets is making my eyes wonky So ive just started playing G-type which is a hell of alot eye friendly hehe.

BTW does any1 else suffer from the same problem with bullet hell shooters? hopefully it'll be something that will dissapear as my eyes start to track the faster patterns easier

Cho Ren Sha [in Linux, on my shiny, fingerprint covered new Inspiron 15 laptop].
I got to level 5 on 1 credit! Got pretty far in, too, screwed up because mid way through the level 4 boss, I lost focus because I had to do something.

Radiant Silvergun.

Yay for new laptops! 100% speed, frameskip 8 [which corresponds to the minimum framerate that I perceive as animation, rather than slideshowing]. I want to drop it down a to 7 or 6, but the game slows down to 90% sometimes. Not too often, but...

Also, Gallop suddenly got easier to beat [didn't have to continue 16 times, actually was going on a 6 credit run, and didn't have to use one on him].

And yes, I fired up the Xbox 360 for some good 2 hours of punishment.

Ikaruga, and I wish I didn't have to use Chankast's video plugin, it sucks [My computer can use the good NullDC one, but when a lot of things come on screen, speed drops like a rock.].

Apparently, on this machine, Chankast's plugin is a worthless piece of garbage [read: it shows 1 triangle on the screen after the press start button voice [and nothing much before that...]].

This machine is weird. My other machine ran Ikaruga well, but choked on RSG, whereas here, this machine runs RSG flawlessly, while it chokes on Ikaruga.

Thunder Cross II - Sound tests are fun! Also, I can actually get to stage 4 without dying in this game, but last time I played, it ended up a horrible, horrible death at the end.

Titanion. It looks really nice in high res. I just wish it didn't cut off the lives counter at the bottom of the screen when I maximize [it scales the screen, but the top and bottom are cut off because the game's trying to center a 4:3 image onto a widescreen [1366x768] display].

Some Cho Ren Sha, bilateral.

Why does Wine lag up when there is lots of stuff on screen [especially bilateral, almost every time the boss shoots a wave at you, the game drops to 20-35fps... then goes back up to the normal 45. Cho Ren Sha only is slow on the first level.]? This doesn't happen on Windows...

Still playing BWR and i got a decent highscore (for me) so i posted it in the high score section plus i got my 1st no bomb no miss run of stage 2.

It pays wonders if u leave a game alone for a couple of days and go back to it

Got sick of RSG, so I went looking for some more shmups.
The Trapezohedron of the darkness[sic] is what I'm playing. It's surprisingly fun. Reminds me of Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth, but implemented better.

Craploads of Grid Wars, and [if it counts], Ray-Hound [you don't shoot, rather, you reflect/pull enemy shots back]. I'm getting back to my regular ability at Ray-Hound [once I can get past level 25, I'll be there... dieing at 18-22 for now...]

I really need to remember to put the Suguri games on this box as well. Good thing they're on the external drive to make my life easy.

XOP Black trying to go for my first-ever 1CC and Hellsinker trying to figure out wtf is going on (I don't even understand the basics beyond move and shoot with that game).

I was thinking about actually turning on my 360 and playing Ikaruga to try and work on the rest of the achievements (I need to A-rank 2-5 and get a 1CC), but I just can't motivate myself to memorize much today. I blame summer vacation.

Level 3 of Progear still hates me. Also, Level 2's boss really hates me. Not to mention the extremely small, but rather ambiguous hitbox confusing the hell out of me when stuck in the dense streams.

Finally gave Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius (PS ver) a go, really enjoying it. I'm used to getting smacked around by Da! and Sexy, so the console-oriented difficulty is a nice break. Was that a penguin jacking off just then? edit: oh right, JO Parodius. lolol!

I'm just going to play the first 5 stages traditionally (I've made it to stage 5 on 1 credit) until I know them very well. I'm going to try not to worry about all those rank shenanigans right now.
