Death Smiles 2 for Xbox 360?

Post by Skykid »

Not sure on this, I'm not exactly a whiz at Japanese. I do believe DS2 has been announced with Espgaluda 2 for release, at least that's according to the shmups twitter that linked this Cave business performance and forecast document:

Anyone decipher whether or not it's true?
Wish they'd skip DS2 and release something better instead though. :|

Anyone else know that CAVE stands for: Computer Art Visual Entertainment?

Considering it's a fiscal report, yes, it's true. I would have not updated the shmups twitter with that information if it was false.

Futari (most likely BL will end up DLC, like Death Smiles had), Galuda 2, Ketsui and Death Smiles II are coming to the 360 over the next 2 years. Death Smiles is getting 1.1 mode for MBL. We will probably see Ketsui last.

Everyone saw a DS2 port coming, but the game still sounds rather lacking.

Espgaluda 2 is awesome news.

I thought it blew.

@Elixir: nice avatar. Certainly not contesting the validity of your info, just twitter doesn't go into much depth. Hooray for such strong 360 support though.

Twitter can't; there's a character limit of 140 characters or something so you're practically forced to tinyurl everything these days.

I'm not really looking forward to DS2 but the other titles totally make up for it.

That's probably a better way of putting it.

I believe they fixed some of the bugs (milking one) and there's a lot of timed unlockable stuff. Still sounds like a miss, though.

The version I played was really ugly. It played okay, but people who have had a lot of experience with it say it's distinctly average.
However, the 360 port is definitely cheaper than Cave completists shelling out for kits.
