That would be amazing :D

Hurrah! Amazing news. Is that Chi-Ryu? He mentioned lending us the board, but I couldn't find him at the show...

Anyway - big thanks to Christian!

Thanks for the Border Down vids CHI.
The first 3 stages of a rudimentary low scoring run with a mistake on Stage 3 Yellow and a non optimal Stage 2 Boss first form, but the vids are still good for the basics of a Red run.

I will put them on the Border Down thread in the Strat section.
Shame The Old Mills deleted his footage of me on the 6D Boss five years ago... :? . I was in much better form back then. Just piecing together fragmented memories now.

It was nice to beat your score on DFK, Skykid :D I couldn't really believe how high it was going, I just really wish I could play that game again now, and get onto the second loop.

Chi-Ryu seemed to spend most of his time in the other room with the DDR machines, I said hi to him when I was going home, also thanks to him for bringing such good games.

When you don't know the stages it's just luck with what's in your chain. Ex: Including those 3 tanks at the start of stage 1 increases your score ten-fold.

Yeah that is true... will need some videos to help learn the stages, and when to use hypers.

Funny you should say that DEL. I showed my wife the pics in this thread, and when I showed her this Team Royale picture, she said in a fairly surprised voice "You're four rather handsome guys!"

Certainly a compliment, but there was definitely surprise in her voice! I'm not quite sure who she thought I was meeting up with before she'd seen a picture...

That said - she has met Skykid

A few random pictures from Saturday at the event. I was busy playing and catching up with people, so my friend Raven took my camera for a bit and took some pictures.

Awesome! Man - next year I'd really like to be involved as an organiser. I know it was hellishly hard work, but I'd love to have been involved!

:O 3 in the morning! And I thought I had it rough getting up at 6 to get there

No seriously, the organisers gave me an absolutely amazing day. Even if the ticket price had been double, I still would have felt like I was robbing you. I wish I could have bought some more T-Shirts :(

All hands on deck :) Be sure to let poolchamp know. I wasn't officially on the team this year, note the lack of a staff shirt. Next year I'll definitely be more involved.

It was utterly fantastic.

Here are some pictures that I took using my mobile phone.

I'm not on any of them, but I saw some of you there. I was the fat bloke with the Atari T-shirt. At the very front of the queue on day two!

Cheers

You were the only one without a staff shirt, there were about 10 strangers there who managed to somehow aquire them throughout the weekend. I was asked by a random kid in a staff tee shirt to come and fix the buttons on SFIV - wtf?!

I dunno whats shes doing with you though dude. Still keep a hold of that one at least until next year so I can try and steal her away :P (joking, and you better fucking know it)

My initial thoughts upon seeing the first few pics: "Wow, I need to go to this one of those days, CA Extreme ain't got shit on this."
After seeing the admission prices: "This is across the Atlantic? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck."
