I can't see any info on this page about where to send a picture of the LE + newspaper?

http://www.ngdevteam.com/lhpb.html#order

Where does it go to guys, and do I pay and then send it (and what do I quote to tie into the payment?)

Thanks!

Just select in the dropdown box the 50% discount.
After payment you will receive an email with the shipping data.
As for the LE, just reply to this mail with your pictures (visible serial number+current newspaper).

It would be nice if you can introduce a 2-players mode

Hadn't noticed the 50% discount till today.

But I applaud NG:DEV for this move as it is does show respect to the people that supported them in the first place. :)
I have no moral obstructions against this now and have just ordered the game.

Let's hope more people are willing to give this great game a chance now with the new tweaks.

Does this game have the reset score at "continue" option?

Does it have standard CD tracks for audio?
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Of course every NG:DEV.TEAM game has score reset at continue. It's arcade industry standard. Last Hope Pink Bullets is designed with the emphasis in scoring.

The CD tracks are standard red-book audio.

1. "You can't do any better" is the dumbest reason for not criticizing something ever.

They're trying to get Adobe to increase the amount of pink they can add in Photoshop. Possibly beyond legal levels.

That's right, it's going to be so pink you'll die.

Does this game have *all* the features of the NGCD version? Just wondering.

Thre's now a new trailer showing an almost final version of the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlIjjVnrarY

At August. This year.
Ganelon wrote:Does this game have *all* the features of the NGCD version? Just wondering.
Do you really mean features or just modes? The game features most of the stuff that the NGCD features and more, but it's a single game of its own w/o modes.

Well, is it missing anything (anything at all) from the NGCD iteration?

It plays basically like a new game, it just uses the same assets from Last Hope. But it's not Last Hope anymore it's Last Hope: Pink Bullets.

While the name Pink Bullets implies that pink bullets are the main feature of this release it's not. It took us more than 6 weeks to completely overhaul the game. The result is a score based action Shmup and the memorizing stuff is vastly toned down. So the emphasis is clearly on scoring and blowing stuff up know. The differences are kinda similar to the differences of Pulstar->Blazing Star

To answer your question it's missing the game mode selection, training modes, dvd and the memorizing game play of LH NGCD.

Just take a look to the movie and compare it to one of the Last Hope movies on Youtube:

Back to GMF's post point...

Thanks buddy, If it wasn't for the RG site post you made DUX would have
passed me by.

Personally I have a few orders pending from the team & VGI (UK)
for both DUX LE / Reg and LH PB @ THE & RHE... Work faster!

Having owned & played the original AES/NGH and NGCD LE versions of Last Hope
(no longer due to finally opting on a consolized MVS set up)
I always liked (still do) the art...

Timm, what are the chances of a DIN A3 poster for Pink Bullets
in the merchandise section on the DEV direct site ?
It's a shame the discount offer is limited for PB, can it not be extended as
this talked of soundtrack bundle sounds very interesting...?

I absolutely offer my services as an MVS playtester BTW

I have a complaint on the NGCD LH... I never did find out that level select
or what that mystery unlockable was.

Lolz... I read that wrong.
Sorry buddy, that OST will be available seperately yes ?

I'm intrigued as to what is gonna be available in the t-shirt section.

The stage select is not an unlockable, it's just there to take look into further stages and/or practice them. And yes you can expect some Pink Bullets stuff at out shop soon.

Ahh... Was that it mate ?

I was thinking the question mark not immediately accessed on the DVD,
I went back to Fakk2 / Jez's quote from a few years back @ the NG.com thread
but couldn't find the answer

"Anyone figure out why there is a question mark in one of the images on the DVD supplemental disc?
Is there some hidden secret on that DVD?"

I never unlocked that...

Edit:

I think I emailed Timm many moons ago to ask if any level select / god mode
code on the NGCD version was available, at that point I was
getting up @ 6am and sleeping @ 2am being stuck halfway though stage 2.

I love Last Hope but suck @ it... The best are those
you NEED to come back to, yep... Will keep an eye on the merchandise section.

I see, you mean the Tactical SuperPlay DVD. That's not an ulockable either, it just means you can find more and create tactics by yourself then shown on the DVD. :)

More than just one to be exactly. The game actually is already in production, rough release estimation is from 29 August to very early September.
