Mahou Daisakusen (New New Thread)

Post by toki »

Please post scores in the new high score thread. Thanks!

Presenting the high score thread for Raizing's first game, and the first in the their one and only trilogy, Mahou Daisakusen! This game is pretty simple to pick up, and there are no complicated scoring techniques, so the game is very straightforward. But that does not mean this game is easy. Being a throwback to the early Seibu/Toaplan era, this game is all large hitbox and fast bullets, and a great challenge.

When submitting scores, please use the format:

Code: Select all

SCORE - NAME - STAGE - SHIP
For example:

Died stupidly in Stage 5 with 8(!) bombs in stock! Had this not happened I think I could've nailed the 1CC... :?

First time into the second loop. Die once and it's over, as powering-up again is next to impossible.

Step by step...
Killed by one of the 2 dragon-planes of the 4th stage.
Something I didn't notice before: the last life is given at 1,500,000...then, you have to be good!

First time playing this in a while:

1,396,060 - drboom - stage 1-6 (boss) - Miyamoto

I usually use Chitta, thought I'd change it up. Played about 5 credits this morning as I am home from work sick. Again. :(
