That Radiant confuses me. It was setup for Saturday, and I gave it a bash assuming it was a 3 button game, where the 3rd button wasn't working.

However, when I checked it out Sunday morning - button 3 was fine. In the test menu only buttons 1 and 2 were shown, there was no mention of the 3rd button.

Smraedis = .SM ? Even with the borked sticks I was pretty damn impressed with your Psyvariar skills - it's going to take some doing to wipe some of those scores off without continuing

That's why I referred to him as the awesome Smraedis. Puts up an X score on Battle Bakraid for a laugh then wins the Ghost Squad competition.
One lifes almost all rail shooters in arcades and knocks shoot'em ups silly.
I didn't even know he can play Psyvariar .

And finally – the weekend was amazing! Thanks so much to all involved that made it happen. So wicked to loiter about the cabs with RupertH, RGC (‘el capitan) smraedis (now S.M?), Skykid (and Ms Skykid of course), DEL, CHI, ravid, Taylor, icarus… Really good to meet Lordstar, Charlie Kong, EvilFunkster, Marked Killer, Nate, msn, cools, poolchamp and all the rest of you. Sad I missed those of you who were there that I never said hello to.

Thanks to all who entered my shambolic tournies! Well done DEL and Icarus. Commiserations to S.M and MulletGeezer for coming so close. Results to post up soon (perhaps minus scores as per some requests). Oh – and thanks especially to Simon, KC, Koci, Kurtis and Alex – those from outside the forum and our various cliques that joined in anyway!

I had a shitload of fun, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and I finally picked up an MVS mobo, and even ‘Nam 1975, which I love. Thanks for the tees Lordstar – amazing quality as ever, and thanks to smraedis for sorting out the hotels.

I’m so gutted its over. We all need to meet in real life more often – if any of you ever need a lumpy sofa to stay on if you fancy

The shmups tournaments were nice, grats to DEL and Icarus on that, I like how the 4 namakoteam members took the top two places in each day. I never thought I would have made it through Ketsui, as I have no clue on the game.

Kudos to yourself for putting up some good scores as well during the tournaments, especially on games you're not familiar with or play regularly.
I still think you should take up Batrider, you have a natural skill for Raizing games. I think you'd be quite good at it. ^_-

I thought it wasn't working until I did the big sword with 2 buttons, and you could only do the basic weapons with both buttons.. proper shame as I wanted to get far on it.

Yeah its me, thanks muchly, it was nice to see someone else interested in the game too, and yeah, they should have put it in a cab with better sticks.

I don't mind losing to Icarus in the tournament, you really deserved it too.

I am sure to pick up Batrider Special course too, I've just found some of the special boss patterns to be annoying, but watching them being ripped apart by DEL and Icarus, I think I'll try it some.
