a hd version of a starfox game is in the works by some homebrewers, admittedly i imagine this will be busted by nintendo but oh well at least the trailer looks nice : D

Looks really good. And yeah, Nintendo will surely shut it down. Next time, release the damn game before advertising it :/

Nintendo isn't actually bad about shutting things down honestly. most claims of being shut down are false, mostly so the teams won't feel bad if they decide to ditch their work because they are unskilled wanks. I dunno how much truth there is to the '6 years in the making' stuff they tossed out, but it's... interesting, to say the least. I hope this turns out decent at the very minimum.

I've heard about this for a couple years now, so I can believe the '6 years in the making' line. Most mods that are still kicking after that amount of time, and actually have good progress to show for it, tend to finish. Should be good.

I concur.

Though it's very hard to say anything about gameplay quality based on this small trailer, I do find it looking rather lackluster and generic. The selling point being "HD StarFox", makes me expect a bit more.

I'll keep an eye on it anyway though, as even a 1/2 Starfox could be a neat game.

Yeah. The "Squeeenix cease and desists some insignificant teenager's ROM haX" bullshit even hit Slashdot.

I don't understand why people feel like they need to lie to save face for their pseudonym's Internet Cred or something. Probably because it would be admitting to themselves that they "suck". Despite that doing thousands of hours of work for no compensation is for the insane.
