The second extend is 10 billion, not 1. 1 billion is too low on its own since it's easily obtainable on stage 1. I understand that this PCB is rare and hasn't made it to too many places yet, but the scores in this thread are absurdly low.

Maybe people don't understand that the multiplier only takes effect with a full hyper meter (i.e. with normal, DDP-style chaining), but what I'm seeing here are people surviving for a long time but missing the whole point of the game: pumping the combo counter up with early hypers and then straight chaining for big points. This is one of CAVE's best games if you're playing it right.

Well, so far there's only one score above 10 billion… Removing the others would defeat the purpose of the board, even if the scores are absurdly low.

God damn! I guess its power after all. I've always been much better at survival in SHMUPs over scoring, but maybe once I learn how to use power...I wish. I'm too used to the typical bomber type through all the DDP games to consider using power now.

Still, 23 bil at 2-5 is pretty impressive. You must be chaining at points right?

Yea that 23 bil run I managed to chain stage 1, later part of stage 2, stage 3 until a bit after the midboss, stage 4 not much chaining, and stage 5 from the start until the end of the 2nd part of the indestructable rotating turret things where I lost my hit count. Not so much chaining as playing for survival in loop 2. Got real close to Ura loop that run too but the 5th boss hit me for a 3rd autobomb RIGHT when I killed her :(

Another improvement to score in a Tsuujou loop...but I DID do a Ura loop all clear tonight! Unfortunately the score isn't as high and I forgot to take a picture like an idiot because I was so excited, but I'll try to get it as soon as possible. Anyways, even though someone was nagging my ear right when stage 1-5 started and fucked up my chain for the entire level(god dammit):

AAAAAND very late edit: People are suddenly getting better scores around me...enough playing with C-Strong to knock out my Ura score :( I'm playing it again this week to hopefully add a neat little extension to the scoreboards here...

I got a Ura score to submit, only problem is that there is flashing to differentiate Ura and Tsuujou scores, and the flashing isn't very noticeable when taking a picture or recording with a phone...any ideas?

EDIT: Upon careful inspection of a Tsuujou "ExBoss" and a Ura "ExBoss" score, there is a bit more white on the top of the "EX" letters for a Ura score compared to a Tsuujou score...its about the only way I can tell people how to differentiate the two with a picture only. Compare the "EX" lettering here to the "EX" seen in the A-Strong score below. Anyways:

Another score for the sake of having something listed for A-Strong. VERY interesting playthrough for a first time with A-Strong after being spoiled by C-Strong for so long...lol

One thing I can tell you is that every time you run over a tank or other enemy during this portion, you can hold off on laser for maybe a second. When the lasers come out, shoot only the laser and try not to get your shot on the tank at all. This should be enough to chain through him.

Lol getting high scores with A-Anything is a bitch in this game it seems! I'll still be playing from time to time here and there with A-Strong whenever I do visit my arcade, but for now I think I'm gonna take a short break from it after getting hibachi-raped last night :(
