Forgot to post this:

Oki, so I can account for:

Big (Sticks) connector
Row A
1 <BLANK> = Empty
2 Brown + White = Right Stick, Right direction
3 Blue + White = Right Stick, one of the buttons
4 Pink = Left Stick, Left direction
5 Purple = Left Stick, Down direction

Row B
1 White
2 Green + White = Right Stick, Up direction
3 Fuchsia + White = Right Stick, one of the buttons
4 Light Orangy, brownish? = Left Stick, Right direction
5 Blue = Left Stick, one of the buttons

Row C
1 Pink + White = Right Stick, Left direction
2 Purple + Black = Right Stick, Down direction
3 White
4 Green = Left Stick, Up direction
5 Fuchsia = Left Stick, one of the buttons

Small (START) connector
Row D
1 White = I'd assume START
2 <BLANK>
3 Green = Thick Grounding Wire

Row E
1 Yellow = START
2 Blue + White = I'd assume START
3 Pink + Black = START

(Of course I remember now that the sticks aren't analog, after I made the pic)

That's a cool Virtual On control panel you've got there, NeoTechni. ^_~

Those are some solid Sega Twin Sticks indeed. They're built to take abuse and still keep on working.

Yes, it would be nice to learn the exact pinout of the Virtual On control panel as I've got one myself but need to know the pinout so I can use it with my Virtual On PCB running on a Jamma setup (via a Sega Model 2 to Jamma adapter setup). It is interesting to learn that the Virtual On instruction manual isn't available on the net for d/l (it did come with my VO PCB of course, along with some other various VO arcade paperworks as well). The VO PCB manual does have a handy schematic diagram for the DIY (do it yourself) arcade hobbyists. ^_~

Since the Virtual On PCB is a Model 2 based one, it runs on a 24kHz medium resolution monitor setup at 60fps framerate. The Sega Model 2 PCB is a huge beast and comes with it's own power supply unit (PSU) + built-in cooling fan setup. The next closest VO port would be the one for the Japanese PS2 console courtesy of Sega themselves but to play VO originally in it's PCB incarnation (like how it was in the arcades) is still the best way to play/enjoy it to the fullest...absolutely no comparision to the console ports of the same name. Even the Sega Saturn & Sega Dreamcast Twin Sticks controllers can't compare to the toughness and durability of the original arcade VO Twin Sticks setup...built like a tank indeed. ^_~

Upon further inspection of the VO manual, it is revealed that a typical VO cabinet uses a 4.1 speaker setup per player -- four speakers + a built-in sub woofer mounted underneath the player's seat. Sega went all out with it's first VO arcade debut and it shows. ^_~

Thanks for the handy link to a VO manual...it's always good to have a spare manual on hand in case the original one gets lost or misplaced. ^_~

Any new info as what the pinout of a VO control panel is (considering that it is a digital based one anyways)? For reference, the Sega Space Harrier PCB uses an analog joystick setup and not a digital based one.
