Sega Blast City ?
Re: Sega Blast City ?
Blast City cabs go for around $900 in the condition this one appears to be in (very nice/clean by the way!). The sliding bench seat is a cool little extra, and probably would cost a lot more if it had the original padded seat. You may want to ask that is the original tri-res monitor (15/24/31khz). Thats a Jamma game shown running it it, so you know its already wired for jamma, may want to ask if JVS is also still supported (or if its coming with a JVS->Jamma converter).
Re: Sega Blast City ?
It hasn't been MAME'd?

Re: Sega Blast City ?
not too sure if thats the stock monitor or not.....it looks like a curved screen in the second pic and the stock one is a flat

Umm, it is?jonny5 wrote:not too sure if thats the stock monitor or not.....it looks like a curved screen in the second pic and the stock one is a flat
The Nanao MS29-30 and MS29-31 (the latter being Blast City stock) aren't flat monitors.
The multi-game it's running looks to be running in VGA mode.
It does look in nice condition, but I'd be really wary without seeing the innards. It could be missing the Blast PSU, be fitted with a crap monitor tube and chassis, and completely rewired.
Re: Sega Blast City ?
This Sega cabinet is $750.00 little expensive due to brand new monitor auto mode for 15K-31K fit any game board.
Im gonna pass on it..
Im gonna pass on it..
Re: Sega Blast City ?
That's actually a good price for a original Blast in that kind of condition. The key word is original

coulda sworn brendz's was flat and its the original monitor.....
for that price you would be foolish to pass on it.....you want minty you arent going to find a better price than that.....
care to shoot me the link if you are gonna pass on it?

and if its a replacement monitor in ontario its almost definitely from neimen displays and i can vouch for them.....great gear
although he has told me he cant do curved tri-syncs so if it is one of his its probably flat.....i really cant tell from the pics tho tbh
Re: Sega Blast City ?
jonny, its the same guy, New Era video games. I told you to go see the cabs. He has alot of them at that bowling center. He can refurbish them.
