About buying buttons and balltops
I tried a ocuple of sites (Lizardlick and Akibashop) and they're down because everyone suddenly wants to buy buttons or something. Where can a guy buy stuff to mod a stick these days? I need nothing fancy, 8x white obsf-30 and 2x white obsf-24 and a white balltop...

www.gamingnow.net is a good option. I think he's been pretty inundated with orders as well but the last time I bought stuff I got my joystick and buttons in about a week.
Re: About buying buttons and balltops
I ordered some stuff from akihabarashop on the 10th. They're a popular site, but they're really reliable. Search engine is garbage though. I'd just wait for them to open again. They order their stuff directly from Sanwa and Seimitsu.
I tried Lizardlick. First time my order for a Seimitsu LS-32 vanished and I never received the item, and I got a refund. Second time I canceled as I wanted to go with AkibaShop instead. Lizardlick are more popular so they're backordered up to their eyeballs. People have ended up waiting months for their stuff from Lizardlick. Also, for the price of the stuff I ordered ($45 USD) with AIR, I was able to get everything at akihabarashop for $47 including EMS, which is a much better shipping option.

www.Arcadeshop.de is really good and reliable, but I guess overseas shipping could be quite expensive.

Decided to give gamingnow a try. Folks at SRK seemed to have a positive experience with them, too. Will let you know how it turns out.
Side note, it is quite amazing to see all the shops are backordered of the same damn buttons, i.e., the black/dark gray obsf-30.

In the UK I order from gremlinsolutions.co.uk
I've not had to order internationally (obviously) but they do ship worldwide.
The service I have had is second to none as well. Always very helpful and they know there stuff when it comes to mods as well.

I just ordered a purple bubble top and black sanwa buttons and octagonal restrictor plate from modchipman, but some of that stuff was back ordered. I'm hoping it doesn't take more than 2 weeks!
