The Horizon
The Horizon
Besides the upcoming Futari port and the if-it-ever-happens-now Ketsui port, what is there to look forward to... Has anything new/good been announced, has anything been announced recently?

Re: The Horizon
Raiden IV and Illvelo are being localized, but as far as new Japanese releases go I'm hard-pressed to think of too many recent announcements offhand...

Re: The Horizon
Radirgy Noah looks fun. It'll probably get a Wii port.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Re: The Horizon
Last Resort Pink Label.
No, really. I skipped the first one because it didn't look all that interesting (being in Japan at the time of release, I had bigger shmups to fry), but when you've got a small non-commercial (or psuedo-, whatever, no slight intended) company that releases an updated version of a game in response to complaints about the original I can't help but pay attention. Worst comes to worst, I don't like it and pass it on to a collector who does.
Beyond that, though... Space Invaders Extreme II and Illvelo (the US releases, of course). And looking forward to the day I have enough money to afford sweet PCB shmup love.
