too bad it isnt working on my EZ5... dont know if its the game or that i have a rather old FW, but the game just freezes.... i think its the game, since i've been to their forum and found out that the game doesnt work on another carts either.

This works perfectly on a cyclods. I just went through the first 3 missions. A lot going on and with a shitty d-pad makes it pretty tough. Nice game though.

Works well on an R4 if you DLDI patch it. Nice soundtrack, and it's good to finally see a vertical game that uses both screens--I've been saying this would be a great idea since the damn system came out.

I like that the stage where you get powerups is the one where it gets balls-hard. Excellent soundtrack, too.

The developers were insane to do this in ASM, though.

Well, TouhouDS does that too... is just that sometimes the ammount of bullets on screen gives you a headache because of the "split" screen thing...

On my NDSTT I needed to upgrade to the unofficial 1.17a01 kernel to play it.

they just said in their forums, that they wont be making anymore shmups any time soon... next 2 projects will be a platformer and a detectives game.

First impressions:

Works seemingly ok/perfect on my Acekard 2.1.

About the game, well... the gap between the screens is a bit off-throwing. Got to 3 stage on the first try... I'd really like to see if this would be a game that can be finished without taking a single hit, since hitbox == ship and there's quite a bit of quickly-moving crap on screen... Maybe I also should check out the original version on an emulator, and compare the stage designs. However, some time playing and I could see myself liking this.

I'm still playing the 1.01 version, though I think I should upgrade since I experienced freezes when practising level 3... As in exiting from the game every time I got thorough the level, the restarting from the lvl 3 start... Otherwise, I've had no problems.

Anyway, for some reason the level 3 seems to be really out-of-touch with the difficulty curve. It's far harder than the levels before AND AFTER it. So far I have only managed to get to level 10 boss, and I think that only levels 9 and 10 were starting to get as hard as 3. Well, nowadays I don't *usually* die on level 3, so I guess it's not that difficult.

that was made like that, deliberately... but once you play it a couple times, its not that hard anymore.

if you dont play the game for score, its actually pretty easy (and im no shmup expert... i still get my ass kicked at mushi and all that), but if you're goin for score, then things change drastically... specially in Mental mode.
