Gunbird rules. Even though I own it already, I'm definitely going to buy it again

If someone gets this, please report whether there is a full-screen option. I'm guessing it's chopped.

The decent thing to do would be to relocalize it without the removed content.

Same sucky localized version, unfortunately. It's still playable, but... it kinds of makes you wonder who the hell decided to release this on the PSN.

$5.99 for a localized Gunbird PS1 port? I hope it at least includes the cover art that has absolutely nothing to do with the game. Though I do like Gunbird (great original art style, annoyingly traditional gameplay), I'll pass.

XS still exist. I guess they saw an opportunity for easy profit. I'm glad they brought us Shikigami 2 mostly unbutchered, but they still have a lot to atone for.Regulus wrote:Same sucky localized version, unfortunately. At the very least, XS Games included the ever-so-important Tate with Castle of Shikigami 2...otherwise, they probably would've left that particular screen display out of the USA localized port anyways if it weren't for folks clamoring them to include tate. ^_~cj iwakura wrote:XS still exist. IIRC, even the original JPN PSX version of Gunbird doesn't have tate to begin with either. Just fire up the ol' Gunbird PCB on a supergun or candy cab setup & you're good to go. ^_~

I do so love Gunbird, but I already own two "real" home versions of it and the original MLF for the PS1, so I'll pass on this.
