What if the PS3’s cell processor could emulate the Emotion Engine?
It can. It does. It's been doing so for a couple of years, albeit imperfectly.

true, the 80GB version does. I wonder what it has that the current versions don't.

true, the 80GB version does. I wonder what it has that the current versions don't.
80GB and similar models have the PS2 GPU (Graphics Synthesizer).
