We'll be setting up a few cabs with some of the most recent Cave games at Japan Expo again, any foreigners hanging out in Paris at that time should visit and meet some French shmuppers ^_^!
So far 3 cabs dedicated to STGs are expected.

ho I totally missed your post
If you're turning up to play shmups, you should definitely prefer Friday as Saturday is both more expensive and a lot more crowded. And at Japan Expo, more crowded means insanely crowded = hours of queuing before getting in the convention center, which sucks !
Right now we're not sure exactly who will be on site, but you should expect only people from the french forum, who're not really active on these very boards. On thursday and friday there'll be me, another guy called Erhune who you can see notably in the Ketsui and Kamui high score threads here, A-M (as staff) that is known for his maniac mushihimesama and god mode futari, and a bunch of other guys (as staff as well) (imalipusram, agalnarok...). Maybe some more people will show up, last year we were a nice bunch of at least 10-20 guys showing up and off. This year it's a little less organized, and we have 3 cabs instead of 5, so we should expect a bit less people maybe.
Anyway, don't hesitate to leave me your number via PM if you want to be contacted or to get mine !

I'll probably be there. I may pass by thursday evening.
If you are going to Japan Expo, be sure to check the concerts and guests lists, too.
It is the most interesting there imho, except arcade videogames of course.

The arcade game area is being set up by Neo Amusement right? Do you guys know where stand will be located? Somehow the list of exhibitors doesn't mention where the activities take place.
