Question for Adventure of Little Ralph owners

Post by KindGrind »

Is your game flickery? Because mine is. Right when I see the title screen, I can notice some slight flickering/fuzziness. I'm using an s-video cable, and my other games don't have behave like this one. Is this normal? I'm playing this on a LCD btw, and nothing else but this game does that...

On my old CRT TV I don't think I ever had any flickering problems. It has been a long time since I've played it, but stuff like that normally bugs me a lot, so I'm pretty sure I never had anything like that.

Tried with my old composite cable (game was fine) and then tried with my other cable without rebooting and it was fine without flickering, too. Powered down the machine, and now it doesn't work. What can it be?

Bleh, can't get it to work properly (without the slight flickering) with neither my s-video cable or my composite cable. Tried Umehara Kawase, Zanac and Harmful Park and they all work great without hiccup. Could it be the console?

Any input much appreciated :)

Probably doesn't help, but I downloaded it onto my PS3 from the Japanese PSN and it works fine on my LCD.

Although that's a completely different thing from playing it on the original hardware so, like I say, probably doesn't help.

Plays fine over here, but I would never do something as cold and cruel as play this beautiful game on an LCD screen.
