Yeah, it did feel pretty clumsy. I'd not compared on a PS1, but I should just to do the ol' A-B comparison ;)

I know. That´s why I wrote Genesis version, because in Japan it´s called a Megadrive

I know. The way you posted that you were suprised by the Genesis version's name (when all of the home ports of Kyokyou Tiger in the US are called "Twin Cobra") suggested that you didn't know it was called Kyokyou Tiger in Japan or that it was a localization of the Japanese Kyokyou Tiger. The fact that you said "Genesis" had nothing to do with my reply.

What I meant to say was, that the japanese versions of the game, Kyukyoku Tiger for clarification, were all (unless I´m mistaken) 1P games.

The Genesis version (US for clarification) of Twin Cobra is also a 1P game, whereas all other US versions of the game included a 2P option as well as the coloured choppers.

To my knowledge anyway.

Only the arcade US, world, and JP versions of the Twin Cobra used the colored choppers. The only US home versions were ports of Kyokyou Tiger. Since the US home versions are localizations of Kyokyou Tiger and there is no different name for Kyokyou Tiger in US arcade, the Kyokyou Tiger ports for Genesis and NES were renamed Twin Cobra for the US. As far as I know, the only true port of Twin Cobra is in the Toaplan Collection for the PSX. I said the NES version is 1p in an earlier post, BTW. I know what you're talking about. There is no need for any more clearification or assumptions that I don't know what I'm talking about.

I´m pretty sure you´ve misunderstood me. I´m not suggesting you don´t know what you´re talking about, I´m merely trying to explain myself. :)

No, I understood you, but you kept telling me stuff I already know and then you replied yet again telling me stuff I already know yet again. Basically, you told me that Twin Cobra for Genesis is 1 players, but I said that it's 1 player becuase it's a localization of Kyokyou Tiger. Then you tell me that you're talking about the Genesis Twin Cobra, which I already knew. When I try to clearify what I'm trying to say, you then explain to me that the Genesis game named Twin Cobra is 1p only, which I knew already. I was trying to explain WHY it is 1p only and then you tell me it's 1p only again. I also said more than once that the NES version is 1p too and you just ignored me.

BTW, there is a Japanese Twin Cobra, which is very similar to the US arcade version. What I was trying to say that the NES and Genesis Twin Cobra are not Twin Cobra at all, which is why they aren't 2 players.

Then I misunderstood you. No harm intended.
