+1 for having the GA gathering at Bibliophile's place. His setup is more impressive than mine, and he has a lot more space to mingle. His warehouse is located in Alpharetta, near the Ferrari dealership.

Plus my house is always a wreck...

I'll talk to the Bama crew and see if they would be up for it. Between all of us, we can provide plenty of shooters.

Yea, I'll bring my one shooter that Bibliophile doesn't already have a copy of: Sexy Parodius. Rob, be sure to bring Xexex up with you! I have plenty of non-shooter boards as well if anyone is interested.

Should I bring Pop'n Music along with me as well?

Biblio, you need to post (or PM) your address to people who might want to come. (or perhaps a new thread is in order).

I'll bring an assortment of shmup PCBs.

Im disappointed in you toredauei, you should have contacted me about that.

I am in Atlanta, near Tucker. Have systems will travel. I have had cabs, but only have one left: Nintendo VS Tentop (now configured for MAME since the original monitors are irreparable). I help run conventions all over the south, and provided almost the entirety of the retrogaming room for Momocon the past two years.

How are the original monitors irrepairable? If they're just the old Sanyo 20EZ model, there's plenty of parts available.

I would be up for hosting a gathering in the future if there's any interest. You can see back on page 1 all of my cabs. The only problem is that my house is somewhat small and always messy.

One had the outer glass broken which coupled with the fact it was left open it in a wet garage, I figured it would be best to just let it go. The other had critters living in it, so I guess it too could have been saved, but who really wants to clean mice droppings out of a monitor? To my knowledge the 20EZ were used in standard Vs cabs, I think the tent used Sharp XM 1801 N's. I may be off though.

Over the past few years I obtained replacements from a VS Baseball but they have terribly burned in screens. My conversion was done so that if at anytime I wanted to swap it back it would only take a matter of hours.

Andy your username is very familiar, I cant say for certain, but I am guessing BYOAC?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but are there any good arcades on the NW side of Atlanta (Cobb/Cherokee)? Or in ATL, for that matter. I'd really like to play a pinball, for chrissake.

I'm located in Statesboro, GA. I have a decent amount of shmups to play, and the store I work at has Donpachi in an Astro cab.
