I refuse to pay MSRP for new games. I don't need to play games the day they come out, and have absolutely no problem waiting for price drops, clearances or the random Amazon gold box deal.
Whenever possible, I buy new. I hate the used game industry, and also enjoy browsing my archive of minty fresh cases, manuals, inserts, and scratch free discs.
For the most part, my strategy works great.
But sometimes, I run into a snag where a game will go out of print, and disappear from retail shelves while I am not paying attention. Next thing I know, it is listed on eBay as "NEW *RARE* SEALED" with a grossly inflated price tag.
Does anyone know of any sites that accurately and reliably report on this sort of thing?
Current gen out of print games?

It's interesting to learn that the USA release of DS Korg that came out in November of 2008 was given a 2nd print run and saw it recently at my local Gamestop a few weeks back. Bought it right away. I missed it the first time around and wasn't willing to pay the inflated prices it commands on eBay. ^_~
