depends if you have a seimitsu panel or a sanwa one.....

what is in it now?

seimitsu is more common i believe so you should be fine....both mine were seimitsu panels....although you might have to wire the harness for it into your loom if it previously had normal ls32's in it

If you have the quick connect 5 pin connector for Sanwa JLF, that pinout is reversed for the LS-32-01. You just have to turn the connector over and plug it in. The joystick should be mounted having the connector pointing towards the screen (when you have the lid open).

Besides that, it's a matter of mounting plates. In my EGRET II for example, the Sanwa JLF or the Seimitsu LS-32 plates will fit (the Sanwa is s-shaped, the Seimitsu is flat).

To add to your confusion, the LS-32-01 are now out of production and are called LS-32-02 from now on. The PCB is slightly different, and the mounting plates are now flat, so it's a good thing. :D
