I have an Int'l esprade board and seen some glitches (like when I bomb). Is this normal? I've noticed some people talking about "waving", but I'm referring to sprite disappearing/flickering. Is this normal?

If there's too much going on, sometimes the game can't keep up and drops some stuff.
Example:

Yep, normal. The hardware reaches the sprite limit and causes some of the sprites to flicker or disappear. It doesn't show up in MAME usually.

That explains why I never noticed it the first time. Ah MAME...

Yeah, MAME may overclock the hardware a bit to reduce these effects. So much for perfect accuracy.

Probably not, just deal with the sprite hardware in emulation differently.

Does an overclocked ESP.Ra.De PCB still have flickering issues, robivy64? I recall in one of your posts that you mention of overclocking one. ^_~
