Please post your favourite quotes and lots of awesome photoshopped moments from the video.

At 2:50 or so "It was one of the first platforms to use Microsoft Windows, to make it easier for developers to make games for it!"

Sega Rally 2 was one of the few games to use Windows CE, and the framerate in that was awful as a result. There were probably some other shitty Western games near the end of Dreamcast's life that might have used it. It mostly ended up being used for the Web Browser discs and stuff. Windows CE is for Pocket PCs and such, it's hardly that big a deal and seemed there mostly for handling networking type functions. I hate how little research these guys do. They probably just looked at the console itself and blurted it out. It's just dumb luck that he's somewhat right, but in a horribly misleading way.

I found the video clip that you're refering to that is titled "The Death of Arcades", undamned:

And here's another one titled "The Return of the Arcade":

Naah the dammage is done you cant make me happy that easy

there right people do care more about score now. But I would not consider XBL score an actual score becuase if you play a little of all the games then you will have a killer score at first glance.

Gah... I watched the 'Return of the Arcades' video, and actually thought the content was fairly good - particularly the discussion about 'short-form' gaming. Whoever's doing their writing is not completely terrible, but Christ, the presenters need to be shot, particularly Mo' Sideburns, who seems to have gotten hammier over time.

Kinda funny in the Dreamcast video how they use the Euro peripherals/logo for everything when the vid is clearly American-produced. I wonder if they just didn't know any better?

I can safely say the arcade one was more retarded. There's some strange unfounded Sega bashing, and some generally stupid comments, but it lacks the straight-up dumbass-who's-never-played-a-video-game-in-his-life remarks that the arcade one had.

Hahaha I love that guy.

"Alright, is this who I'm married to now? That Dreamcast that I used to date in high school? Like, if things just went a little different, we'd still be together. It'd be awesome. We'd be in like Tahiti right now."

"But you know it's cool I got uh, yeah Halo 3."

Also, I liked this: "You may not believe this today, but back then, the name Sony was associated with pleasant, fun, gaming experience."

Sadly, I don't think "kid" applies. I know 30+ year old men who dress like this shit.

The article speaks the truth. Anticipation kills.

Whenever I hear about the Dreamcast's "death", I cringe a little. They would have made a great profit if they kept the console alive until about 2005. I bet a lot of companies didn't even get the chance to mess with it. :(

I think if the DC lasted for longer than a few months it would've had an XBOX 360 level failure rate. These systems are crap.

Agreed, they like to spaz out and reset a lot.

I'm surprised to hear you say that - I have four, and only one has ever given me trouble - a blown controller port fuse which was easily fixed with 1/2 hour of work. My originial 9/9/99 model is still going strong, even after playing it daily for years, which is pretty awesome, and all the others work too. Certainly more reliable than my Gamecube ever was.

That issue has been identified and an easy fix is available. My own DC has been going strong since 2000. It only chokes on some types of burns.

Really, I'll have to google it (unless it's quick enough for someone to mention here?)
It's my little brother's machine incedentally, mine seems to still run fine.
