Do you know how can I extract the gallery illustrations from PS2 Cave games? Are they available in high res anywhere on the Internet? BTW, take a look at this for some artwork by Cave. These are the best scans you will find, at least in terms of resolution. Be patient. Some of the pics are quite big.

EDIT: I've only looked at the tops of the first two, but they both filtered and/or color-corrected.

A lot of (well, the handful I've used) drivers have "color correction" on by default. Simply turn it off before scanning. The difference is big. If you like the more "vibrant" look then messing w/ the levels later is probably a smarter move in the long run. Easier to do than undo. Shitloads of my scans were with color correction on when I didn't really know better, so, they're redone any chance I got. I'm more into archival purposes, so try to acquire them as natural as possible.Elaphe wrote:It's the result of scanning.
