Ok I should have checked this thread instead of the other one. We should organize a meet sometime. It's been a while since I've had a chance to play my shmups but this would be a good opportunity to get back into them. I live in Woodstock.

We may finally have enough momentum in GA to get something going.

Unfortunately I don't have a spot to host the event, nor do I have any pcbs. I do have some console stuff (360's, PS2, Saturn) and a laptop with mame that I could bring to help the game selection. Not too many sticks though

I'm down if something gets kicked off.

as of now im in kennesaw going to school so it seems to me that most of us are in the same general area. it probably wouldnt be all that difficult to put something together.

Those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. I don't have much but it's enough to get my fill. I can't wait for Futari and Ketsui to come out for the 360. I also have a 21" monitor that can be setup for tate mode since it has all the inputs needed.

circa2113 has said that he has a couple of cabs and that he's located in gainsville. He's also said something about hosting a meet sometime in august I believe (according to the north georgia thread).

I've a few crts and an LCD i could move.Small stuffs 20-22inchers. ive got a 32inch lcd tv thats easily moveable (i still have the box) which could be a great DS screen(since its not tatable).

Seems like our challenge is a host. 2 years ago I had a home we coulda used

Might be easier just to forget what we have and carpool to one of bamma get togethers.

Hey guys, I regularly post in the neo forums. Not so much here. I just came across this thread and saw that there are a few others like myself in the ATL area. I have a pretty good setup for arcade gaming in general. If there's a bit of interest, perhaps we could hold a small gathering at my place sometime in the future.

I'm friends with Andy. Like him, I post on the Neo Forums more than here.

We have a gaming gathering every so often, and we are currently scheduled to have one at my place on or about Saturday July 11, 2009. If anybody here wants to come, please feel free to PM Andy or myself.

We have some shmups (not as many as Rob unfortunately

), but if you have anything you'd want to bring along, you are certainly free to do so.
