Playing gobs of Sonic Rush, just destroyed my old time, and now my record is 0'44"11 [Zone 1-1 Sonic].
[EDIT]
Got it down to 0'44'01.

After owning it for a year and not really touching it, I've now played Mass Effect through twice with the same character and am in the process of taking him up to level 60 on a third playthrough. Brilliant story, solid combat, shame about the small amounts of repetition in the whole land, find ore, open a pod, empty a base, repeat of the uncharted worlds.
Is this the only game where achievements actually add something to the experience? I'm currently playing through on Insanity mode to see what I get for a lvl 60, Insanity, 2 more allies, scholar. I then think I'll make a new character that uses bios and techs.
I think the main strength of this game is the fact that it can be played through as a story in 10-15 hours or explored thoroughly in about 40 hours, and then repeated without becoming a drag.

I actually recently picked up Chrono Trigger for the DS on a whim, and played a few minutes of it...now I'm as stuck on it as I was back in the SNES days, which honestly surprised the heck out of me. Also trying to finish up the last boss of Henry Hatsworth, but I'm going to have to grind a bit first, unfortunately...

More Rush [down to 43 seconds and change], and a little bit of Sonic 2 and 3 [and man, that run of Sonic 2 was terrible -- I kept falling at that part in act 2 of CPZ with the rising water... I almost NEVER messup there... as for the Sonic 3 run, I hate the Marble Garden boss.]

Fire Emblem made me fail Microbiology when it first came out. I wasted 40 hours in 5 days leveling only to have my characters die at Lvl. 20. At least I was playing it on night shift at work. I promised to never play another FE game again, the DS one is SOOOOO tempting!
I just busted out the Ol' GBA for the first time since Aria of Sorrow was released to play a game I missed, Zone of the Enders: Fist of Mars.

I couldn't put it down when I played it. I'm pretty into those tactics type games and the permanent death made it that much better. Played it through 1-star hard and I'm going to try 3-star whenever I decide to play it again.professor ganson wrote:Fire Emblem DS. I really, really love this game so far. Amazing.

Dude, you're going to do BG, TOSC, BGII, TOB?Ruldra wrote:Shortly ago I started playing Baldur's Gate with a dwarven fighter. Gonna play him all the way to the end of Throne of Bhaal, which most likely will take all my vacation time in July.
Last summer I played through BGII+TOB with a human blade and it was awesome. SO epic. Think I'm going to have to play through it again this summer.

Playing some Guilty Gear X, PC version.
I *LOVE* this game. Ever since the first time I played it in the arcades, I have loved this game. It just feels so right to me. It seems to play a bit better with a keyboard however, namely due to how much faster hitting arrow keys can be done than moving a stick.

Damn, that sucks. The way saves work in the DS version, I don't think there's any worry that you might lose everything. If things go poorly in a battle you just turn off your machine and go back to your previous save.handsome_rakshas wrote:WARNING:professor ganson wrote:Fire Emblem DS. Street fighter IV - I picked it up again after a little hiatus due to work. Still not as good as SF3.3
