you should set up a thread in the selling section advertising this service. i just spent $30 on ebay for 1400 points
You should've PM'ed me or another user in JPN. I just sold like 5 sets of 1400 points for $26.50 each, and sent them out via interweb immediately.

On Nico there are some, but the quality from what I've seen isn't that hot.

Just don't go in expecting miracles from MBL if you've already played 1.1 previously. I would actually buy 1.1 if it weren't included already. It's just that much fun.

That said I'm kinda disappointed that Sakura isn't playable in 1.1 but I'm glad it exists. The ability to power yourself at 100 means you can go into situations and time bullet cancelling or prevent being potentially blindsided. Of course I'm sure you all know what happy fun times the descending part of the Canyon bring.

How the hell do you trigger large crowns during powerup mode? Not talking about buffing bullets on-screen at the time it's activated. I've managed to pull it off a few times, but have no idea how.

Large crowns happen once you get to +10,000 in powerup mode. (original DS)

Does anyone have this achievement?

大食漢 (25) Absorb/cancel a total of 65535 bullets with your option/familiar

If so how long did it take you to get and what mode did you do it on?

if MBL counts toward that acheivement, playing sakura on lvl 999 wouldn't take any time at all.

Regarding 1.1, does anyone have any advice for Jitterbug's second (bullshit) wavy attack where bullets zone in on you? I tried the "up down up down" trick but I can't seem to get it right.

It doesn't.

The "up and down" trick. It'll click, just wait. Did you see my replay? If you use the lock-on you'll do away with him much, much quicker, but you have to make adjustments to how high or low you are on the screen when the bullets appear.

I'll try it closer to the power up gauge like you did. Damn.. there's a lot of finer points to recharging there which I saw on the Canyon which will help me out. You were probably shitting yourself through the Castle.. I'm going to have to practice this.

For the folks in Japan offering services on points cards, is anyone doing this continuously? I am out of work for a while as there is a bankruptcy issue being resolved, but I will seek a points card before too long so I may enjoy MBL.

Thanks to those offering these services for us abroad :D

I'm sure it won't be much of an issue.

No one.

It's probably something ridiculous like "Beat MBL with Lv999 on every stage including the canyon, castle and ice palace without dying. Using Casper."

Edit: I was pretty close.

The 100G achievement for DS MBL is:

"Bloody Jitterbug has been defeated."

真の強者
ブラッディージルバを倒しました。

I suppose though when we do actually find out what the secret 100 point achievement is most people will be unable to obtain it anyway.

The achievement-related discussion got off-topic, so I moved all that here...and it seems to be going nowhere, so I locked it. Carry on.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Price: US$ 149.90 (~244.73 NZD)

Wow that's steep. They're selling for 9-10,000 yen ($88-102 USD) on YJP. You would be better off ordering through a deputy service.

It sure is! I bought mine from an ebayer for a much more reasonable amount, I suppose there's less risk with PA :D

Bloody Jitterbug: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7204367

He misses the cake for some reason, I don't know why. All patterns are, obviously, altered as they're Lv999.

Damn -- how the fuck did he do that?

Surely he missed the cake as he was waiting to die, then pick it up for max life... but didnt die.

Wouldn't it be better for him to die on purpose, use that life's bomb, then get the life up again? At least if I'm thinking this right, the fourth life's bomb will be replenished as well.
