I visit this site quite a lot to read reviews, and as I'm currently hooked on shmups, I thought I'd join up and talk/learn about a few more of them. Generally I will play any genre of game, but just recently I can't tear myself away from shooters. I was round my mates house and he was dying to show me his new game: Perfect Cherry Blossom. I'm not a fan of PC games at the best of times but this was awesome. When I got home I delved through my collection to see what shooters I had and came across Strikers 1945 II for the PS1. Until then I had never played the game, but now I can't put it down. I've managed to get through the first run through on very hard difficulty without using a continue, but I always diebefore I get to the boss on the first mission of the second run through (GGRRRR!!).
Other than that I'm currently playing Dangerous Seed, Thunderforce II and Kyuukyoku Tiger on the MD and Action Fighter on the SMS, none of which I'm very good at ATM, but I'm getting better at them with every play.
Boring bit: Stewart, 29, UK, married with kid, obsessive Sega Freak with a complete Euro SMS set and a near complete PAL MD set, and a not so obsessive but still quite large PS1/2/3/P collection.
