Cave swag notice...

Post by A_Civilian »

The online shop's advertising a really large sale. New stuff include a Daioujou Bowl with Hibachi engraving, posters and danmaku dedicated shirts.
But I'd like to ask the more Japanese literate here (or anyone that buys on that site) some stuff:

1) Are they really reproducing their old items for the sale? I see old stuff, like the Mushihime soundtrack (with Reko figure) and the phone straps with the same notice on it, but...
2) Does the sale START or END at the 16th of May?
3) They don't ship outside of Japan, right?

1) They say they will have some more old stuff for sale, but no specifics.
2) Start.
3) Nope.

Those shirts kind of suck, oh well...

If you guys want anything and no one else offers, I can buy and forward packages to your respective countries as long as you pay in full for the item, shipping (domestic to me and international), and a small markup.

Geez, anyone actually trying to buy anything? The server is getting hammered, it's impossible to actually add anything to your cart!

You have to be patient. If you go to the main page, you'll see a little widget w/ the contents of your cart. That'll tell you if anything is getting added. The painful part is actually adding. It is then redirected to your shopping cart display page, which usually times out. Looks like my stuff isn't getting added though. Dipshits.

But yeah, this is fucked. The other online festivals weren't so bad.

I had this problem when I bought an beautiful King of Fighters Zippo in Japan that I affectionately refer to as the King of Lighters. While I've significantly reduced my chances of getting lung cancer I can't help feeling a sense of regret that I don't get to use that lighter.

I had a little look around the web and couldn't find any pics but I think I'm going to hang on to it as a relic of my past anyway.

If you're super-keen on seeing it I could take a pic...

Heh, so how'd people make out with this? Took several hours of refreshing the damn site to add things and actually make it all the way through checkout, but at least I managed to grab everything that I wanted to get. Looks like the majority of the stuff is sold out now, heh, I guess every Cave fan in Japan shared our woes today.

I managed to get everything I wanted except for the DDP bowl, which was whatever. I actually took the plunge on the shot glass which I will surely regret really soon. lol

They ran out of the fucking Espgaluda II mug though which I was trying to get for a friend. Random.

Still, boring matsuri IMO. Where's the DDPDFK superplay DVD? I also want some better shirts than the lame jokey stuff they've got up. Dunno if anyone else saw those Futari shirts they made awhile back I believe when it was shown at AOU. Those were hot.
