How many games do you have on pre-order right now?
How many games do you have on pre-order right now?
The other night I snapped and threw down five pre-orders for upcoming stuff.
1. Mushihimesama limited edition (PS2)
2. Sengoku Cannon (PSP)
3. Last Blade Compilation: 1&2 (PS2)
4. Garou: Mark of the Wolves (PS2)
5. Taito Memories Vol. 1 (PS2)
Luckily they're all spread out over the next few months, but it's still a big chunk of cash.

Didn't even know about the last blade comp.
Is the taito comp coming stateside or should I be reserving it?

Eugenics: you know it's right!
Mushihimesama regular edition for me. I pre-ordered it and paid using paypal, before the limited edition was announced, and it is a bit of a hassle changing it to get the limited edition.

None here. I haven't actually preordered anything in a while The last one I had a preorder on was Halo 2, which I preordered mainly so I wouldn't need to spend three hours waiting in line for it. I can usually get a hold of anything I'm looking for without a preorder anyway. I will probably pick up Kirby Canvas Curse for my DS next week though.

1. Minna Daisuki Katamari Damacy
2. Mushihimesama Limited Edition
3. Taito Arcade Memories Vol 1
4. Simple 2000 Vol 81. The Chikyuu Boueigun 2
Decided to break down and order Gigawing Generations to ship along with Katamari 2 so that it wouldn't be lonely in the package. This is actually my first time buying new import games in quite a while; I haven't been able to afford the steep cost in quite some time and there really hasn't been a whole lot that I've wanted. Unfortunatly, July is a motherfucker.
The Chikyuu Boueigun was among my favorite games from the Simple 2000 series (if not THE favorite). Sure, it had framerate issues and some clunky control, but the game was just fucking cool. Fighting giant fucking ants as they try to swarm the city? Fighting big ass aliens attacking from the sea? Stopping some godzilla motherfucker that's roaming around the city? I didn't even know about the sequel until yesterday and I preordered it post-fucking-haste. Seriously, if you've got ~2000yen burning a hole in your pocket, check out Simple 2000 vol 31 sometime
Taito Arcade Memories I'm pretty much buying just for Elevator Action Returns. I can't justify buying a Saturn copy now that the PS2 version is coming out (and I get all of those other games for free!

Is there anything special about this version compared to the DC one?8 1/2 wrote:4. Garou: Mark of the Wolves (PS2)
You're arguing for a universe with fewer waffles in it. I'm prepared to call that cowardice.

At the moment, just Mushihime sama.
The Twinkle Star Sprites sequel sure does look tempting, though. I'm sure I'll give in and preorder it and Taito Memories and Xexex a week or so before they ship. I'm a sad case, I know...
And where's my Senko no Ronde DC port, dammit?
I'll preorder that the moment they announce it.

I heard it got delayed a few months, like August.8 1/2 wrote: 4. Garou: Mark of the Wolves (PS2)
I rarely pre-order games, doubt I ever will again unless something super-cool is coming out. I usually just buy something if I see it, like I did the other day with Choro Q. I was also thinking of getting Virtual ON Marz.

I guess this thread was meant for Japanese games? None for me. I've got Atelier Iris (PS2) on pre-order. It should be out in a few weeks, but I said that about this time last month. Apparently, NIS is fixing up some localization issues before the shove it out the door. *sniff* It's nice to know... *sniff* that they care.
Once that game comes out (assuming it's not delayed forever), and I finish it, I'll be pre-ordering Dragon Quest VIII. Thank god S-E decided to push back FF12 to early 2006. This will help DQ8 actually sell a decent amount of copies, I think (as long as they come up with a good TV/print/online ad campaign). It'll be the RPG to get this holiday season. And maybe then we'd get the DQV remake and Slime Morimori DQ (GBA). I'm giddy at the possibilities.

No, not at all. I just personally don't have any of the current gen of US consoles anymore except for the PSP, so I'm sort of import-only at the moment.OmegaFlareX wrote:I guess this thread was meant for Japanese games?
Update:
Oretachi Geasen Zoku Sono 6: Sonic Wings
Oretachi Geasen Zoku Sono 7: Zexex
Oretachi Geasen Zoku Sono 9: Terra Cresta
I all seems like a bit too much, I know, but really it's only a couple of games a month spread out over the next three months. So nice to have games to look forward too. It's been a while since there's been a flood like this for me.

My girlfriend is going to Japan on the 16th, and will be there through the end of the month... I'm giving her the money to pick up Mushihimesama when it comes out on the 21st
Does THAT count as a pre-order?
