Heh...I don't buy it. LCD monitors have a bright light at the bottom for illuminating the picture, surely there'd be a glare from it. Really cool pictures though.

The pictures are clearly faked. Those screens are not really transparent, period. The dude just put up digital photos as his wallpaper. Some other people should give it a try and post their attempts, it's pretty easy to do.

I thought they were digital photos as wallpapers before I thought they were see-through screens.

The top one is obviously faked: the shelf-rail on the wall and on the screen don't line up. The second one is really well done.

What's fake about it? The site even says they're just digital photos as wallpaper. Who on Earth would really think there's an only partially transparent monitor, and if there was one, it was in someone's house?

What's obvious to you and me may not be so obvious to everybody else. SheSaidDutch seemed to be on the fence, I was just laying it out so this thread didn't turn into some 3 page debate over the authenticity of the images. If you say "they're faked, period" four posts down from the top of the thread, people get the idea.

Now, shall we get on with the 3 page debate about whether or not I should've used the word "faked" when no deception was intended by the authors of the images? I may have used a few juicy comma splices here and there as well, so have at it.

The thing is It's rather hard to convey my humor or my thinking while on the interweb, maybe my wording etc is a strange concept to some people, I dont know.

for the record apparently I have a small percentage of Aspergers Syndrome *Mild form of Autism* "apparently" although I'm taking this with a grain of salt although I do have the typical "obessive interests" associatted with AS.
