Smraedis is World Class on FPS's. He 1CC'd Time Crisis 3 in front of elbarto, then elbarto suggested he 1LC it on the next credit, and he did
Smraedis can 1CC RAZING STORM and he showed us a near-completion at the Troc, then he proceeded to 1CC the very hard Time Crisis 4 .
Most Impressive, as Vader would say.

Mr Monks and Uncle CHI played Air Assault, Smraedis played Night Raid, Pork, Mush and Progear. Taylor played Pork, Blazbleu and Progear. Mulletgeezer was sighted and I ALLed Pork with that ungainly blue character Ikuo.

Spotted by who? I turned up and saw no shmuppists so I guessed maybe it was troc time. I only had time for 1.5 credits on Progear before running for my train. And where were the fighting game players? The only game being played while I was there was AvP I think that place needs to get SF3 back, and of course a new shmup...

Yes it was Troc time.
The fighting game players rammed the place out on Thursday and friday nights. Saturday is not a Casino day for them, its Yates Harrow day.

I will be down today - late afternoon. CHI will be around from 6pm.

EDIT:- Smraedis and I continued the Meet on Sunday. Smraedis advanced rapidly on Pork, getting to 65mil'ish ST4 Boss in a day and a half. I got my Rafute record @ 134mil ALL, arriving at the Last Boss with max 5 lives. Another good day .

Hi, I'm back home now. Had such a great weekend! even though the turnout wasn't high, everything was still nice, especially those great conversations!
My pedometer says that I walked 36 miles this weekend, so I'm just a little bit tired

Pork is such a great game, I really like pretty much everything about the game, the art direction is cool too.
I can't believe I got 65 million after such a short time on the game. Though I know I'll be upset with not being able to play that game for a while now..

I had a really good run on Progear at the end of Saturday, going into stage 5 with 5 lives.. to end with a 15m 1-ALL, even when not really playing for score.

Was nice to show some lightgun game runs, its always fun to do the guns on both the Time Crisis 3 and 4 machines are quite bad, which really makes the games harder, and more frustrating. I'll be much better at Razing Storm when I next visit

I popped in on Sunday night (about 7ish) with Becki. Managed to get my highest score on Progear yet (jsut short of 5m) and Introduced her to the wonders of MMP. She still prefers Progear though.

Gutted I missed it guys, but glad you had fun!

I would of loved to have seen smraedis' TC3 1CC. (I did play quite a bit of Let's Go Jungle on my holiday, so at least I got a credit fix!).

What's Razing Storm then? I've not heard of it.

New Namco lightgun (previewed at ATEI this year), 2 player spiritual successor to the awesome "Crisis Zone."

Yeah its all new, you could call it Time Crisis on steroids.

I find it very enjoyable, can already 1CC the game without any problems, but it just feels a lot more fun than all the other recent games. It can easily be compared to Crisis Zone, I just hope this game doesn't dissapear from arcades as quick as CZ did.
