More games should be re-released with online.
This will not look better than a vga dreamcast 480p, only the online is extra.
How about re-releasing some awesome racing games with online?

maybe they might fix/patch these stupid combos so they don't exist anymore. It would be better if they just flat out removed: magneto, cable, sentinel, storm, roll, and a wolverine. some of capcoms choices in characters are just stupid. I'm sure with those characters gone everyone (who is a tier fag) would just play : jill, psylocke, dr. doom, or maybe t bonne. this is of course if juggernaut is banned. Now that i think about it, I'm almost sure they'll modify or patch this game in someway, at least the glitches. how could they not knowing the damn things exist...

either way, I'm looking forward to this. but not looking forard to playing on Live against juggernaut, cable, and magneto

Even if they made the god tier characters not god mode, it would just be the high tier characters all the time instead. And nobody would play the "fixed" mode.

I'm surprised people still take the time to call this "broken". We knew it wasn't serious stuff 10 years ago. It's still fun to play with friends and the purpose of he game was to be entertaining. If you want a serious fighter contemporary to MVC2 then any iteration of SFIII should do ya.

With the apparent success Capcom has this generation perhaps they can milk the SF franchise a bit more by releasing all 3 SFIII releases as well

yes it will..... the backgrounds are going to be rendered in HD versus 480p.

last time I checked most my HD stuff looked better than 480p when discussing 3D, like MvC2's backgrounds.

the sprites will look like crap on both though... the DC version had ugly fake hi-res sprites to start with.

it's to do with combos and infinites. once you start a setup, you can keep hitting them for a long time. so that became "once you pop you can't stop", "he's so pringles", and "CURLEH MUSTACHE !!!"

the haagen dazs reference is also pretty convoluted

i don't think it's a marvel one, but someone on ggpo said to me the other day "BREAKFAST HAS BEEN SERVED, IT'S TIME TO GET BRUNCHED IN THE FACE !!!"

Hehe, they should have put a picture of NES strider in the Wii spot, or a pic of Strider getting punched in the face. But sucks this game, I'll be too busy playing Blazblue to care.

Basically, all the MVC2 phrases are from that video on Youtube. Pay careful attention to the action when the dude says anything.

ROM infinite/resets->Once you pop, you can't stop->Pringles->curly mustache
situational Mag throwing Storm->scoop->Haagen-Dazs
custom orange Sentinel color->mango Sentinel->Knicks colors

Yeah, MVC2 players can do word association with the best of them.

I never picked up on the Pringles/chip damage thing. I thought it was just once you pop, you don't stop (insanely long combos)
