Complete Guwange PCB kit on ebay - BIN $1,400 USD!
Was browsing through the usual ebay Jamma listings and found this one rare gem:
http://cgi.ebay.com/JAMMA-GUWANGE-CAVE- ... 7C294%3A50
The BIN price is at $1,400 USD. It's not very likely to see it in complete form these days. akiba-connect is the seller of this particular auction and I already see two offers have been submitted. ^_~
I recall of a YAJ auction for a complete mint Dangun Feveron PCB kit that went for more than $2,000+ easily. With some very deep monetary pockets, could one easily afford this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a complete Guwange PCB kit. Makes you wonder if this particular Guwange PCB and factory box have matching serial numbers as well. ^_~
PC Engine Fan X! ^_~

I'm not sure I'd part with $1400 for Guwange. OTOH, I do understand you probably won't get a bare Guwange PCB for Ibara's price. If the box were perfect, this would probably go for $1700.
You could almost get a Death Smiles PCB for this amount, or maybe a Taito Type X motherboard.
I did have a good deal recently with the seller for a Mr. Driller G board, and he shipped quick- with the board in perfect working condition.

Do PCB collectors generally care about this? I probably would, especially if I was going to blow $1000+ on a game.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:Makes you wonder if this particular Guwange PCB and factory box have matching serial numbers as well. ^_~

I wouldn't know personally, but I'd guess yes. I'd probably care, too, if I was spending that much on the game.captpain wrote:Do PCB collectors generally care about this? I used to be into classic Vespa collection, and people care if the frame and motor matches in serial number. It rarely happens, but people care.
I want a death smiles PCB for 600.00
That's a ton of cash for the box beaten so badly. I don't have the box but do have the art and PCB..... is it the box that makes the price so high?
I understand high... but THAT high for a beaten up box?

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
i highly doubt the serials are matching, pretty sure this was the box on yahoo that went for <10KJPY , i dont have the auction saved but i remember there was a low interest due to damage to both the guwange and atlus logos (just like thisone has)...Pda wrote:I contacted these guys some days ago;pretend box and PCBs are matching for those interested
Actually box isn't a bad shape considering that, back then, they were used as shipping boxes.Remains of tape on the perimeter are present nearly everytime.
and the condition, well put it this way its the most beat up box ive seen anyways, but since thats only 5 or 6 in total thats not much to go by i guess..

yeah they are still up... DDP 4 will probably be my next purchase.
