Space Phallus (Win/Mac/Linux)

Post by nZero »

Just searched, there doesn't seem to be a thread for this yet. It's a retro-themed game where your ship is a disembodied fire-shooting dog head and you're fighting against an invasion of cocks and balls. Yes, really.

It's currently in-development with 3 levels completed. There's an online leaderboard too if you want to score attack.

I found out about it because one of my friends has a track in this game, "Sirius Bismuth" as the music for Stage 3. You can press the 3 key at the title screen if you want to skip straight to it, or challenge the demo and see if you can reach it the old fashioned way.

So, it's a spiritual sequel to R-Type? :P

It's pretty tough, actually, and I do dig the music. That doesn't stop it from being downright disturbing, though. Not that that's a bad thing. And it was free, so... great job.

A contender for R-Type Delta and Contra: Shattered Soldier's "most sperm unleashed in a boss battle" trophies! Note: I'm possibly speaking from ignorance, having not played any of the Cho Aniki games.

It does look fun; but at the same time.... :/

I'm sure there are probably much worse ways to waste game-making skill/opportunity, though.

This is actually pretty damn cool. Come for the style, the gameplay, stay for the penises and sperm.

Actually, please don't come for this game.

No-miss run of the first stage. It's from the older demo but it doesn't look like anything's changed in stage 1 since then. You'd probably get a higher score from strategic suiciding though. 3 bombs per life with no pickups, and bombs = scoring. I'm pretty sure it would outdo the end-of-stage life/perfect bonuses.

Just managed to play through this game until stage 3; couldn't get anywhere farther. I just wish the hitbox wasn't so massive though...
