I'm considering getting a PSP Slim as it has support for Component cables and can output 480p to my tri sync cabinet. I've also found some tutorials of people hacking their PSP Slim to allow external controls.
Now, first of all, is it worth the hassle, i.e. are there enough exclusive titles that would suite a cabinet? I know of Ultimate Ghost's 'n Goblins (looks awesome) and Star Soldier. But except for it running PSX games and some emulators (I can do that with my laptop instead) is it worth the work?

the PSP's picture will be small.... black borders around the picture.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
It can output 480p from component to VGA:

Edit: Looks like there will be some borders. But I can adust the image size with my chassis controls.
