the ketsui club...we have a hand shake and badges and everything....wicked cool!!

and im guessing you guys didnt know that upon release, every new ketsui kit shipped with a monocle and 5 chip cuff links.....

sadly only the chosen few are so lucky to have the 'full' full kit

There are no right or wrong opinions. What's "right" or "wrong" literally cannot be proven as scientific fact, and as such, the very concept of a "right opinion" is immeasurably absurd. The only fact is that no opinion in the history of the universe is factually right or wrong.

When a news outlet is covering a subject, they have an expert on. If the subject is child psychology, they invite an expert child psychologist onto the show. If the subject is an earthquake, they invite a geology expert, etc. etc. Why do they do this and not just grab some shmuck from the street?

Because the expert's opinion carries more weight. The expert knows what the fuck he or she is talking about. Typically someone smart enough to climb to the top of his or her field doesn't use words he or she doesn't know the meaning of either.

Still, opinions cannot be factually proven in either direction. If I were to say that Hitler was a great man and did many great things for the Jews, you'd have a tough time using scientific/mathematic methods of judgment to prove my opinion right or wrong, since it would be literally impossible.

Hard? No. A needless expense in a faulty economy? Yes.

And yeah, I still pirate when I can, then buy whatever it is afterward if I notice I've been playing it for more than a few hours. A shame more people don't do that. But if Ketsui DS is even a HINT of how Ketsui plays (dodge bullets, lock onto enemies, get [5]s, take bosses apart, drum'n'bass soundtrack) then I'd gladly pay $70 for it. An additional $300 for a Japanese console? Not something on my list of priorities. If only 5bp opted for a region-free disc like many other Japanese developers for the 360. Ah well.

Pretty much what 5bp did when they region-locked the game, even knowing it wouldn't be localized due to lack of appeal, yeah. Way to lose some bucks, unless someone paid them a big fat sum to keep it Japan-only.

Pretty much all JP only releases on xbox are region locked, its a standard thing.

You're right, there are no right or wrong opinions, only informed and uninformed, good and bad opinions. Yours and Sonic R's seem to be shit opinions of the uninformed variety. I wouldn't trust the opinion of a twelve year old who can barely read who claims Shakespeare to be overrated nor would I trust someone's opinion of a book when they only saw the last 10 minutes of the movie adaptation. That's pretty much what you two are doing. The fact that neither of you have substantiated your opinions (not that you could really, having never played the game) in any meaningful way and the fact that you fall back on this bullshit about there not being "right" opinions makes you look ignorant and illinformed.
