put it this way.....if i didnt have an awesome g/f i wouldnt be able to buy any of this stuff.....

when i bought ketsui i literally saved everything i made that month minus rent and bills and she covered groceries for the month

and i still barely covered it

im a very lucky guy

It's more correlated to the many shmups.com forumites insisting Ketsui is CAVE's hands-down best game, as though their opinion = fact. You don't see me proclaiming ESPGaluda is their best-ever game.

Eh. I'll stick to games with the Kakusei system. I think that's how Galuda won me over; much less linearity when it comes to scoring. Chaining in Daioujou is remotely more fun than Ikaruga.

yup...its been out for like 6-7 years, but this is the year ketsui gets big.....

You know that Ketsui has one of Cave's most flexible scoring systems with close to no linearity?

It's like suddenly everyone decides they love the game, all because of a cash-in on the DS and an upcoming(?) 360 port.

ah come on this is the shmups forum people here generally refer to games as overated or no good if there shit at them or if the game isnt a theme or style they like , espgaluda is probably one of caves most popular shooters and lets face it thats down to how easy it is .

i think its a mix of the easy factor and the PS2 port....galuda is one of the few newer cave games that has a fairly faithful port....so lots of people have played it....

i think you are right to a degree....providing the 360 ketsui port is playable i think it will find a lot of new fans....

Also, I think Ikaruga's an overrated piece of shit, even though I can 1CC the game, so your logic is flawed. (But I must suck at the game, even though I've 1CC'd it)

And since when was ESPGaluda popular? If it was, they would have ported Galuda II to 360 first, not port DOJ... again...
