The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) was established on 1 January 2002 by the Film Act 2001 (Victoria) , which provided for a new cultural institution in Victoria dedicated to the moving image in all its forms.

June 7, 2005 - ACMI Readies Sonic The Hedgehog Exhibition
The Australian Center For The Moving Image, located in Melbourne, Australia, has announced the latest exhibition as part of its new Games Lab area, named '
Sonic The Hedgehog: Icon Of Our Time '.
According to organizers, the exhibition, which runs from Wednesday June 22nd to Sunday October 2nd, 2005, the exhibition "lets you experience the evolution of game technology from simple 2D 'side scrollers' to intricate 3D worlds", and features playable version of multiple Sonic games, including Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic Spinball, Sonic R, and Sonic Heroes, as well as showings of the Sonic X animated series, and other exhibits and interactive titles.

Hmm, has Mario ever had some type of exhibit along these lines all to himself? It'd be interesting if Sonic beat him to it...

Sonic R and Sonic Heroes?
Yes, those are two Sonic titles that I feel really show off what that series was made of.
