SEGA Saturn USB pads

Post by sploit »

I read that these were compatible with PS3 consoles...

Erm...would they work with games like the newer Sonic the Hedgehog games that are on PS3? :?

Moved to Hardware.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

depends if sonic does not need:
L2, L3, R2, R3, Select and both analog mushrooms.
As these are non existent on the sega usb pad.
Please note that the pad only works with ps1 and ps3 games.
Not possible to play ps2 games

Hey, well I don't own either a PS3 or an XBOX 360,
but as a massive SEGA fan, being able to play the Sonic games with a Saturn pad would be a HUGE deal to me, so if the Saturn pads worked with the Sonic games on PS3...it would greatly effect my decision as to which console I would get out of the two...

Thanks for the info anyways :)

EDIT: JUST FOUND OUT SONIC GAMES USE THE ANALOGUE STICKS SO NEVER MIND

ive bought one of these pads from ebay, mainly to try using it on MAME as my current pad sucks for pulling off fire balls and stuff....ive always had great success with the Saturn pad lets hope it does the business.

Where could I E-mail or mail to if I want to address my ideas and Opinions?

Your best option in that case would be maybe a SFIV fightpad. They've got the feel of a Saturn pad, but they have a switch that lets the dpad function as the analog, so you can play analog games with it.

Might be an option to look into.
