any foreigners coming to StunFest 2009 ?

Here's a link to the event's site for those who don't know about it. It has fighting games tournaments, many arcade games, and STGs. I know the place isn't the easiest to reach for foreigners... but advertising anyway, just in case.

Post here if any of you guys plan to come here, there will be 7 to 10 shmups dedicated cabs and probably all of the newest Cave games (ketsui and guwange tournaments, +DFK, futari BL...). We're doing a shmupmeet, you guys are welcome!

2010 is next week. 2 hours train from Paris. i trusted once more that the info was spread. but seems it's not said for shmups. (for fighting games, it's now a worldwide known place with players coming worldwide, which leads to Tougeki championship admissions)

only the staff could say about shmups presence. there will be numerous Arcades on Cave/raizing/psykio for sure, as past years, and even more. there's a rumor of a nearly total lineup of Cave games on japanese cabs....(even if i would doubt a lot for : deathsmiles2, ddp campaign and other rarities ^^)

sure fact is : about 3 different french resellers of japanese arcades come with loads of cabs + the staff stuff... (dedicated samba de amigo deluxe, alpine racer, silentscope2, 2 versuscity, X astrocity, X naomi, .....), plus this time championship on Tetris grandmaster with the best french players. and usual : retrogaming, chiptune concert, circuit bending ! ,

this will be an ORGY !!

pictures talk . that was great place to be, lot of space, junkfood pizzas, and the surrounds were green and quiet with sun and little air flow.

12 japanese cabs for shmups : ikaruga, muchi pork, ddp fukkatsu BL, sexyparodius, ibara kuro, radiant silvergun, gunbird2, dodonpachi dai ou jou, mushihime futari BL, battle bakraid, ketsui, espgaluda2,

many oldschool setups, from Amstrad6128+ to 3DO, atari7800, numerous ddr/beatmania/popnmusic setups.... arcade tetris tgm2, puyo puyo, windjammers, mushihime tama, , numerous arcades for fightinggames too due to the worldwide challengers coming there...

the only arcade who suffered from light was the samba de amigo deluxe (rear projection is shame in light)

hi swedish fiends . i'm annoyed i misunderstood about your time in japan, thought it was the same time this event came. i'm not reading a lot on internet nowadays . my daytime job has become hell, i could only stay 26hrs straight during this event. i still focus on my retirement place too . sorry too has said in first, that even after 2-3 years, there's still no one from france who put publicity on this event timmmmes before. i figured it was spread well. (from usa, japan, etcc , people know it's a place to come) .

one of the chiptune artists, nicknames : Dr Von Pnok. Realmyop . it's said there were americans and swedish chiptuners ?!

you can see the nicknames of the people filming. about the pictures sets, one is from Dam-dam, which has a blog and some fans. http://damdamprod.over-blog.com/ . you could surely ask him about the artists there, because he organised some parts of this event.
