Sonic Council

I've heard some good stuff about this game (some of it from people here on these forums), but I'm still not sure if it's worth it or not. Supposedly it's one of the best Saturn fighting games EVAR, but that sounds a lot like internet hype...

If you've played it and have opinions, let me know please~

I've heard a lot of fanboy hype on it, but word on the street is that it's really not all that great. *shrug*

Its all hype.

A prominent gaming magazine in Japan decided they would put their money where their mouth is, and the end product was Sonic Council.

Its definitely NOT even in a league with the SNK/Capcom fighters on the Saturn, or even Astra Superstars in all of its bizarreness, but it is an alright 2D fighter that is "good" at least. But nothing "Jaw droppingly spectacular."

Okie, thanks for the replies. I saw a copy for fairly cheap the other day, but I'll pass. I don't really have anyone to play fighting games with right now anyway.
