I just got one of these but can't figure out for the life of me how to use it. I've been searching online all day with no success. Please don't flame me for asking this question but is it possible to hook up a ps2 to a crt monitor with this? Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Maybe your monitor can't handle the resolution? What monitor is it? And what resolution?

Are you booting your games in progressive mode? Or does your transcoder support interlaced input?

the monitor i have is a 21" viewsonic g220fb. as far as booting the games go, i'm not booting them in progressive. the device says it does 480p, 720p, 1080i/540p.

You should try to patch a game to run in 480p as 480i is the norm for PS2 games, and you just said that the device works for 480p as a minimum.
