They are, but murasame appears to be
actively releasing patches for Hitogata Happa, in 2009, even. If you modify the source, will the patches still work? Will you be releasing the game pre-patched or will the patches be optional (and included)? Or are you going to ignore them completely?

I understand the rush for GDC, but it's still unprofessional to use something that you didn't create and pass it off as your own. It's quite obvious that you thought nobody would notice.
To be honest, I haven't heard about "Testronic labs" before your mention of it. Their
client portfolio just gives you a
larger image under their Gaming references and I didn't find anything when searching for Gundemonium.
This sort of thing would be impossible for me to "research first". I can't find anything linking rockinandroid to "Testronic labs", and to be honest, the website looks like a placeholder website that you'd most commonly see when a site has gone defunct. What I did manage to find out was that Testronics were involved in the localization of
My Horse And Me. That's fantastic.

Are you really unaware of the translation patches for Suguri and Gundemonium which both you're both localizing, when they're both been out for quite some time already? Guess time will tell, because if they are the same you're going to end up with a bad reputation.
Android1 wrote:You took it very personal are you the translator? If so my apologies, it was an emergency.
E. Galvez,

Taking it personally has little to do with it. It would be better if I didn't get to see a bunch of friends have their work end up plagiarized. I did not personally make the patches for the Platine Dispositif games you're involved with, but I'm involved with the people who have and I've basically been a messenger so far. I'm also a big Platine fan, one of the few here. It raised concern within the group when we heard that you were going to be charging money for your publishings, yet there was evidence that the fan translation which had been provided by the group was used.
If they're successful releases I'll consider supporting them as well. Good luck.
