The package
The DVD case - more great Engrish
The discs - not quite so bright this time

Inside the book
Raiden 3 bonus stuff
The CDs
Seem pretty good quality, from what I've listened to so far. Whether you like the actual tunes is another matter though, and entirely subjective

The DVD
RF:
Judge Spear
RF2:
Normal - Fairy
Special - Eraser
Expert - Slave (Dark Sword)
RFjet:
Normal - Slave (Judge Spear)
Special - Miclus
Expert - Slave (Judge Spear)
I haven't watched any of the replays all the way through yet.
Database feature is much the same as on the Garegga disc, design art and flyer art that runs as a slide-show. You also get the Gun Dogs flyer shown for the first game.
The Book
Much better quality than the Garegga one, this time its almost entirely in colour too. Screenshots are much clearer, I think it might be reprints of GAMEST articles.
One nice touch is that it shows the hit areas for all the RF2/Jet ships

Raiden III stuff
You get footage of the first three stages on the DVD which was a VERY nice surprise. I certainly hadn't expected this when I pre-ordered.
I haven't seen any footage from the net or anywhere else yet, so sorry if any of these comments are old news.
Bullet grazing (like in RF series) appears to be in.
Proton (green) Laser doesn't appear to lock-on as in Raiden 2/DX.
First Boss is typical Raiden - 2 identical modules, staggered entry.
Herr Schatten mentioned the "generic 3D" look in another thread, and I have to agree to a point.. I'm not sure if I really like the graphics at the moment, but I'm hoping they'll grow on me.
After seeing it in motion though, I can't wait to play it myself, and find out exactly what all the multipliers in the top left are for.
More impressions after I've spent some time with it
